Electronic mailing list members are individuals that get bulk email messages, such as weekly/monthly newsletters. Depending on the mailing list management software that’s used to manage a given mailing list, they may have subscribed personally, expressing their explicit permission to be included in the mailing list, or they may have been added manually. The latter means that they will technically receive unsolicited emails. Traditionally, mailing list members can be managed by the mailing list owner who can approve or delete them, or they can unsubscribe manually if they don’t want to receive emails from now on. All members will always receive one and the same message as long as they belong to the same mailing list, but a single subscriber will never be able to view the remaining mailing list subscribers in the "To" field of the email.
